Writers Group
SAVE AS Writers' Group is a well established group of writers in Canterbury. The group is chaired by founder member and Canterbury Writer's Poetry Prize winner, Luigi Marchini and has a fluid membership of 40 people of all ages who are serious about their writing.
The members have met regularly at the University of Kent at Canterbury campus since 2001 and the group now has a wider network of connections with many other writing and poetry groups, literary events locally and in London and a proportion have had work published. The workshopping meetings give members a chance to read their prose and poetry within a supportive group, and to receive constructive criticism from other writers.
Membership is free and open to all local writers whether they're just starting out or are already established.
